Robin W. Josef has volunteered and consulted for community programs for many years. After moving to Orlando, FL , she was compelled to join in the fight against the spread of HIV disease. In 2006, after many years of talking to thousands of people in literally hundreds of venues, Ms. Josef recieved a plaque for her commitment to the health and solidarity of women in Orange County. In March of 2007, she was also recognized as a nominee for Humanitarian of the Year by the Central Florida Black History Committee; for pioneering HIV prevention and testing programs in underserved minority communities.

In May of 2007, Robin was given a vision to establish, LIFE Recovery Council (LRC), and sponsor the first Week of Prayer for the Healing of Sexual Trauma. After contacting thousands of churches by phone and email, web statistics reported visitors from around the globe. To date, LRC's mission is to provide leadership in mobilizing faith-based organizations to provide education, guidance and support to victims of crime and their families. Furthermore, LRC envisions a world where individuals who suffer from sexual trauma and domestic violence can find refuge in the faith-based program of their choice through evidence-based strategies specifically designed to help overcome the effects of being victimized.

This year, Ms. Josef has laid the groundwork for the Million Mobilized Ministries Movement. The goal is to mobilize 1 Million Ministries so that abused children will literally have 1 Million "Faith Stops" on their journey towards freeddom from abuse.
